Once again, Cove CC Colts are arranging an evening’s entertainment at the Ageas Bowl (Rosebowl) in Southampton. This year to watch Hampshire Royals vs Sussex Sharks.
The date is Friday 12th July (3 weeks away!) and the game will start at 7pm. This year Hampshire Royals have offered us our own roped off section, and will arrange for us to have photo’s with the mascot and (maybe!) introduce us to one or two Hampshire Royals’ players. The price of the tickets will be £13 for an adult (instead of £16) and £4.50 for a junior (under 16) (instead of £5). This price includes a £1 donation to Cove CC Colts for every adult ticket and 50p for each junior ticket.
Also, if booked in advance, parking is reduced from £10 to £5 – the car park is directly opposite the ground. Traffic does get very busy around match day, so car-pooling is a good idea, as is arriving early.
Many of you will have received a “Rewards Ticket” from Hampshire CC (either by representing District or County, or by attending the recent session with Charlotte Edwards) entitling you to a free adult and free child ticket to any Hampshire T20 game. These can be used for this game and there are two ways of using these. 1) Fill them out and send them to me in lieu of payment and you will receive a formal ticket and be part of the “Cove CC enclosure” or 2) use them on the day and you’re on your own!
For option 1, please can I request the respective donations to Cove CC Colts.
Register your interest and payment
In order to register your interest in this event (stating how many adult and junior tickets you’ll want (and whether you have a Rewards ticket) – and how many parking tickets you require) please can you email Andy (email below) before Friday 28th July. In terms of payment, please can you write a cheque to “Cove CC Colts” for the required amount and write your name, child’s name and age group on the back and put it in an envelope for the attention of Andy Minshaw. You can either give the envelope to your coach, to me directly if you see me (he’ll be around at several training sessions next week), or place it behind the bar. Please also email in every case, so I can keep track of who’s done what.
If you have any questions please contact me on email@example.com.
